The holiday cottage Lys-de-Membre is located in the heart of the beautiful valley of the river Semois in the Belgian Ardennes. 

The beautiful woods of Membre invite you for a walk, for a cycling or mountain bike tour and for kayaking on the river Semois. You can also do some horse riding or fishing and in winter even cross country skiing. All these activities can be deployed within 5 km (3,1 miles). Your bikes or eg. fishing gear can be stored in the garden shed. 

In the vicinity of Membre you can also visit numerous tourist attractions and there are plenty of local solutions for your hunger and thurst. 

Within a range of 30 km (18 miles) you can visit some cultural destinations such as Bouillon and Charleville-Mézières. 

A bit further (40 to 60 km = 24 to 37 miles) we can recommend following destinations:

Transinne (40 km = 24 miles)

Han-sur-Lesse (45 km = 28 miles)

Libramont (45 km = 28 miles)

Rochefort (50 km = 31 miles)

Dinant (60 km = 37 miles)

Orval (65 km = 40 miles)

Within a range of 80 km (50 miles) both La Roche and Bastogne are worth a visit. 

And it may surprise you, but the cities of Verdun (F), Reims (F) and Trier (D) are easy to visit on a days journey.
